The Dornier 328JET is a successful regional airliner and continues in service, supported worldwide by the 328 Service Support Group team (328SSG). A number of low time airframes are available for conversion by 328SSG, who hold the original type certificate for the aircraft, into customised VIP aircraft. At the same time a comprehensive maintenance and overhaul program will be completed to bring the new 328JET VIP conversions to market at an unbeatable offer price.
The full stand up, three cabin zone layout of the 328JET VIP conversion aircraft is unrivalled by any aircraft at a comparable price. With 2,000nm range from a new supplemental tank modification the aircraft offers superb utility and a baggage capacity meeting the needs of 8 to 14 passengers depending upon the interior layout selection. Operating costs are surprisingly low due to the regional airline heritage of the aircraft, and reliability and maintainability in operation are proven attributes of the aircraft. |

| Typically manufacturers provide a very limited selection of interior layouts and leave the customisation to the colour of the materials and paint scheme. The 328JET VIP conversion gives you the freedom to either modify our large existing range of interior completions or, whilst working directly with our design and styling team from CTM designs, create your own perfect environment. |

Main Cabin
The main cabin may be divided into three distinct areas, either by seating plan or the addition of mid-cabin dividers/curtains. An LED wash and spot lighting scheme will be developed to match the specific cabin layout designed, and can include mood-tone lighting if desired.
A two zone cabin audio system combines with the large 21 inch LCD monitors at either end of the cabin, and the optional credenza stowed flat screen TV, to provide high quality passenger entertainment, augmented by direct input of passengers own mp3 or iPod player. In addition Airshow 400 flight information is available for display.
Fold out tables, and for the divan or double club seating, a height adjustable coffee table may be used for place settings, working or just games. Each VIP seat may be provided with 110v/220v power source and system controls for audio from the private headphone jacks, lighting, and cabin conditioning. A wireless telephone or SatCom system can also be provided.
In cabin finishing and material selections are vast and will enable you to achieve your desired style marrying lifestyle to functionality. The various cabinets and credenza may be customised for storage space. |
 |
Seats (VIP & Divan)
Perhaps the most important element of a successful interior, seating must match exactly the user’s requirements. The 328JET boast full 16g, multi-configurable, and full berthing seating. A range of armrest and headrest styles and designs, footrest, full track and swivel are available, as is an almost unlimited range of upholstery choices and materials for the seat covering.
A 3 place divan may be positioned in any cabin section, and will convert into a double bed, as does the double club seating unit with coffee table. The use of custom tailored, lie-flat, self inflating mattresses on both this and the facing club seats ensures a comfortable base for a good sleep.

Galley
With an ergonomically designed structure comprising all the essentials to prepare, serve and support a culinary centre of excellence, the 328 galley is equipped with heat oven and microwave, hotcup/jug, coffee maker and/or expresso machine, hot and cold water and sink, custom plate warmer facility and high quality tailored inserts for plate and cutlery storage. Storage may be custom tailored and include standard catering tray sized modules for practical use. The 328Jet and CTM teams are currently developing an illuminated crystal storage cabinet and display area, combined with a self service bar for either the galley or the credenza area in the cabin. |
Lavatory
Well, whilst a bath isn’t yet an option, a stand up shower unit could be. Optional vacuum or chemical toilet, with external servicing is available as is the possibility of a forward lavatory. The rear bathroom area has extensive cupboard space and full length mirrors or vanity mirrors as required. A washbasin and make-up mirror and surface is provided as standard. |
Baggage
With one of the largest baggage holds in the corporate aviation world, there are endless possibilities to layout this region to the customer's exact needs. Storage cabinets or tailored carry racks, such as for tow bar head can be provided. The baggage hold is accessible in flight and may be equipped with a fill fire detection and suppression system as an option.
Access to load bags is simplicity itself and can be accomplished by a single crew member, wihtout the need of ladders or steps. The low sill height and extra large door allow for a wide range of items to be placed into the baggage hold without any loading or unloading problems. Standard airport baggage loading ramps may, of course, be used if available. |

The Dornier 328Jet is ideally suited to a variety of special mission configurations. Originally conceived as a regional jet it is engineered for low cost reliable operations on a regular and repeated basis. The aircraft is thus ideal for corporate shuttle operations for companies, organisations or sports teams. The passenger capacity and comfort level can be matched to the requirement as illustrated in the Corporate Shuttle section.
Of course, reliability is the hallmark for aero medical and Air Ambulance operations. The large, wide cabin of the 328Jet enables a wide range of scenarios to be catered for, ranging from the most basic medical evacuation fits to a full intensive care facility for one or more patients. Here again the size and flexibility of the 328Jet cabin enables not only the patients but full medical personnel often accompanying family member passengers to be easily carried.
We are fully able to develop any special mission fit for you and working with 328sSG, the original Type Certificate holders we can achieve a high quality and timely modification or conversion to meet your requirements, contact us directly to discuss your special mission needs. |

| The 328JET may be acquired with or without the extended range tanks. However, for VIP use it is typically expected that the new tank installation will be taken as this has no impact on cabin or baggage size. Such an aircraft would have a 2,000nm range with 4 passengers, NBAA IFR 200nm alternate, ISA+10C conditions. The range circles below illustrate the flexibility and capability of this uniquely versatile aircraft. |
